Novotel Bali Benoa Celebrates Indonesian Heritage with Batik OOTD Competition

Bali – In celebration of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, Novotel Bali Benoa proudly hosted KarnavALL Batik Indonesia on Friday, 25 October 2024, a unique event that honors National Batik Day. Held at the stunning beachfront resort, the event brought together media representatives, in-house guests, and members of ALL – Accor Live Limitless for a celebration that highlighted the beauty and craftsmanship of traditional Batik, Indonesia’s iconic fabric.

The celebration featured a Batik OOTD (Outfit of the Day) Competition, where the resort’s employees, fondly known as Heartists, showcased their personal Batik outfits in a vibrant display of color and pattern. Participants competed for exciting prizes, while guests and media cheered them on in a lively and engaging atmosphere.
Attendees were welcomed by Juliana Liew, General Manager of Novotel Bali Benoa, who expressed her gratitude for their support. “Batik is more than just a fabric, it represents Indonesia’s national identity, artistry, and cultural pride. Novotel Bali Benoa is thrilled to be part of its preservation and promotion,” she said during her opening remarks.

KarnavALL Batik Indonesia was made possible by ALL – Accor Live Limitless, Accor’s loyalty program, which aims to offer experiences beyond traditional hospitality services such as stays and dining. “Through events like this, we connect our guests and members with the cultural richness that makes Indonesia so special, creating experiences that go beyond the ordinary,” Juliana added. In addition to the Batik competition, Novotel Bali Benoa took the opportunity to support local Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) by showcasing locally produced Batik products. Guests were invited to explore and purchase these unique items, further contributing to the promotion of traditional Indonesian craftsmanship. The event was held during breakfast which provided a perfect opportunity for Novotel Bali Benoa’s management to connect and mingle with media friends, guests and ALL members. The event concluded with a warm sense of camaraderie, highlighting Novotel Bali Benoa’s commitment to providing memorable cultural experiences for both local and international guests.
