We had a good holiday staying in Novotel Benoa. Breakfast was good. The lunch and dinner with the voucher was not upto the mark. It has very limited choices. Though the hotel was located at the beach connecting to the sea, the beach water was not clean enough to step into the water. Staff are very helpful and well behaved.

Disappointing Stay at Novotel Bali

My recent stay at Novotel Bali was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we checked in, it was evident that the standards of cleanliness and customer service were severely lacking. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a strong musty odour that immediately raised concerns. The room was not only mouldy, but the bed heads were stained, indicating a serious lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance. As if that wasn't enough, the room was infested with mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep without being constantly bothered. The situation took a turn for the worse when my son suffered an asthma attack on the first night due to the poor air quality in the room. Despite this health emergency, the staff showed little concern and were reluctant to assist us. We were shocked to learn that they would only change our room for an additional fee, showing a complete disregard for our well-being. To make matters worse, when we attempted to voice our concerns to the staff, they were dismissive and rude, openly conversing in their native language while we were trying to address the issues we were facing. This lack of professionalism and empathy only added to our frustration and disappointment. Overall, my experience at Novotel Bali was extremely disappointing. The combination of mouldy rooms, mosquito infestations, and poor customer service made for an unpleasant stay. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel until they address these serious issues and prioritize the comfort and safety of their guests.

We were upgraded being Accor Plus members but unfortunately the pool access room was not good because the pool was being renovated. Whilst I was happy to put up with this for the initial three days, when maintenance was extended for the remainder of my stay, I emailed Nadek. He was amazing and upgraded us to a deluxe room in the ocean front part of the hotel. We were very happy with this. The staff (all of them) are amazing. I loved Novotel Bali Benoa, and have stayed with them about twelve years ago, visited the hotel on a day trip to bali four years ago and booked again this time. Definitely will be coming again.

The staff was amazing. The breakfast bar out of this world. If given the opportunity I will come back to this hotel. Very Balinese and clean. The employees will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, from the bellhops, to house keeping, to concierge to restaurant and people who prepare the wonderful breakfast buffet. I loved staying there and hated to leave Novotel Bali Benoa.
